The Alan Turing Society is a dynamic interdisciplinary student community dedicated to exploring the profound questions and innovations at the nexus of technology, philosophy, and society. Inspired by Alan Turing, the father of modern computation and a pioneering philosopher-scientist, we honor his legacy by engaging with the core inquiry he first posed in his seminal paper: “Can machines think?” We bring together students from all disciplines to critically examine both the technical frontiers of artificial intelligence and its deeper philosophical, ethical, and humanistic implications. Through speaker events, technical workshops, interdisciplinary dialogues, and collaborative projects, we foster a space where the scientific and the humanistic mindsets converge to shape the future of intelligent systems.
