A few words from your Opportunities Officer
“Hi, I’m Anita, your Opportunities Officer for this academic year! My role is all about making sure
you have access to the opportunities you need. I work closely with the Careers Team to make
sure your voice is heard and that the support available actually matches what you’re looking for.”
What we've been working on
Last semester, I ran a survey to find out what you actually want when it comes to opportunities
and career support. You can read the full report below to see what you told me and what I’m
doing about it. I’ve also put together an Opportunities Handbook to help you navigate everything
that’s available to you.
Resources
How can we help?
We can help you find many different options for you to stay busy while studying. This includes internal hiring for positions on the Student Union, as-needed hiring for events like bar nights, information about university jobs, part-time and summer positions at local companies, and places you can volunteer.
Student Union Hiring
In addition to officer positions on the SU, we also hire people to help at events and other venues.
University & Student Jobs
The University and many local companies in London offer jobs catered towards students.
